June
Morrow
Miss
April Day/ Writer, performer, producer
After
working as a stripper for seven years, June realized
she'd probably get better laughs by keeping her clothes
on. Since then, she's studied stand-up and sketch at
the Second City, improv with the Bad Dog Theatre, bouffon
with Adam Lazarus, and her own life with (probably a
bit too much) rapt fascination.
In 2005, June produced and hosted the Good Humour Bar,
a weekly comedy variety series that ran to solid audiences
in downtown Toronto. These days -- in addition to performing
stand-up throughout Canada and occasionally fronting
the faux country-rock band Dawn Valley and the Southern
Ontarians -- June was a reporter/producer for 52mondays.ca,
a website profiling fun and unusual activities for the
first day of the week. For more information on June
check out her website www.junemorrow.com.
Dave
McKay
Director
One
third of the Holey Trinity, the production company behind
the Toronto Festival of Clowns and A Grotesque Christmas
Pageant, Dave is a key player within Toronto's theatrical
clown scene. Recent directing credits include Primal
Broads at the 2005 Bad Dog Short Play Festival, the
Hamilton Fridge Festival and the 2005 New Ideas Festival.
When he's not behind the scenes Dave can be found clowning
around as his alter egos Omie, Sketchy the Clown, and
Trefor the homeless cancer-ridden dreamer dwarf
